Freshman state Rep. Todd Courser turned heads Monday with a strongly worded newsletter criticizing Michigan House Speaker Kevin Cotter for expelling fellow tea party Rep. Cindy Gamrat from the Republican caucus. Courser said of Cotter's actions, "They are the shameless actions of a bully bent on abusing his power to silence in the caucus a voice of liberty; my hope and prayer is that the Speaker will change course and make some good steps this week to bring resolution to this situation for all involved."
